TITLE: EXPECT TO HEAR “WELCOME” OR “DEPART” AT LAST

KEY TEXT: “The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers” (Luke 12:46 KJV).

I definitely know some believers will have a problem with the topic of today’s daily divine inspiration. Some may say, “Why would Apostle Emmanuel Osezele tell a believer to expect either a welcome or depart? Why would he not just say ‘expect to be welcomed by God and His angels in Heaven’ ?” Well, that is my desire for everyone, and that is God’s desire for all His children, too. But it depends on the individual to allow himself or herself to fulfill God’s desire by living a holy life that only guarantees one for Heaven or live carelessly in sin and hear, “Depart, I never knew you.” It is so sad to know that a majority of believers, not to mention the unbelievers, are living careless lives without eternity in mind. Some Christians today are laboring without knowing what exactly they are laboring for. Many are laboring for the praise of men or for what they will gain that will end here on earth. That is ignorance and foolishness. 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV

ARE YOU AWARE OF WHAT AWAITS YOU?: It does not matter who you are (your position or possessions in life). One thing is certain, you are as good as a waste bin waiting to be burned in fire if you are living without Jesus Christ in your life, no matter how rich, poor, popular, or influential you may be. Two words are waiting somewhere to be told, but one goes for each person, according to how his or her work shall be: “Welcome, my faithful servant,” or, “Depart, you unfaithful servant.” You are to determine which one you want to hear. But I tell you, you are going to hear, “Depart to hell,” where you will burn forever if you do not give your life to Jesus Christ and amend your ways. Luke 12:47 KJV

DO YOU TRULY VALUE YOURSELF?: My eyes are now open to reality. I used to think that those who went to the ritualist to make money, steal, loot government treasuries, or pastors who went for satanic powers to attract members and make money for themselves were actually doing it out of the love they had for themselves. I was wrong. No one would love himself or herself and do what will send him or her to everlasting torment in hell just because of a few days or years of sorrowful enjoyment on earth. Beloved of God, examine yourself now and do the right thing before it is too late. Heaven or hell are the only final choices at the end of one’s life on earth. The choice is yours alone to make. Hebrews 9:27 KJV

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, please examine me and reveal to me the things that would have made me see you in shame on the last day. Grant me the grace to do away with them, as I repent of all my sins today and serve you in holiness and true righteousness, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing” (Luke 12:43 KJV).
