TITLE: FIGHT THE FORCE OF ADDICTION

KEY TEXT: “All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any” (1 Corinthians 6:12 KJV).

The devil is doing everything to take the minds of the children of God away from the things of God. Social media is one force that the devil is using to distract many believers from their God-given assignments. There are many unprofitable things on social media that look profitable and are presented in a way that looks harmless, but they are so detrimental to the souls of believers. Satanic agents and industries make their films and videos short and sweet, but before one knows it, he or she has spent hours watching garbage, and many believers are now addicted to watching garbage with so much concentration. The time many believers would have used to meditate on the Word of God, has been converted to watching scripts on social media, and the Spirit is weeping and crying for revival. Romans 13:14 KJV

FIGHT IT NOW: Most believers are going through an addiction problem, with so many going through masturbation, lust, pornography, gluttony, etc. These habits started like normal behavior, but demons capitalized on the unchecked behavior and turned it into dubious and damnable behavior. Satan, has through unchecked attitudes, gotten hold of many unsuspecting people. Any ungodly behavior that is not quickly fought against will definitely take over the minds of such believers. Many have gone to hell through addictions, and many are on their way now. I do not know that ungodly behavior you are gradually entertaining now, but you better pray against the spirit behind it before it becomes a problem that needs a bulldozer to uproot. 1 Peter 2:11 KJV 

DO NOT BE TOO FULL OF YOURSELF: The problem most believers have is overconfidence. Some think they are too spiritual to fall prey to Satan's schemes. They forgot that many souls in hell, who were pulled out of faith, were stronger and more spiritual than them. Satan always uses little drops of water to make a mighty ocean. You must soberly depend on the Holy Spirit for guidance. I, Apostle Emmanuel Osezele, have seen the serpentine nature of sin. You could be walking in error joyfully, yet thinking all is well because things seem to be working out in the right direction, unless God, in His mercy, opens one’s eyes to know that he or she has gone out of the way and is just busy working. Many are now addicted to their error to the point where the Holy Spirit is now silent about them, because their conscience is now seared up. Check yourself to know the habit that is gradually taking over your spiritual well-being and deal with it now before it is eternally too late. Revelation 2:5 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please have mercy and forgive me, in any way I have given your time to things that have no eternal value to my soul. Deliver me from every addicting habit, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners” (1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV).
