TITLE: ETERNITY IS INEVITABLE

KEY TEXT: "He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end" (Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJV). 

It could be well understood that a majority of people nowadays have no eternity in mind. Most of today's men of God that are supposed to use their lifestyle to be a reminder of eternity to their followers, have become the perfect example of worldliness.
Human beings would always be who they are with very short memories. They easily forget things, especially in a time of lack or abundance. For instance, when sickness strikes or things are not going well (when people are going through stressful situations), they easily forget the eternal pain in hellfire. You would see some people trying to help themselves through diabolical means. Some would even dear to say, “It does not matter if it leads them to hellfire.” To them, no pain could be more than what they are going through, forgetting that a second in hellfire is like one million years of pain on earth. Galatians 6:8 KJV 

MANY ENJOY AND FORGET THEIR AWAITING DAYS OF SORROW IN ETERNITY:  
Most people living in affluence and without the fear of God easily forget that all they need to keep living is the breath of life. They completely forget that their breath could be taken away at any time and eternal sorrow will begin immediately. This could be said of the rich who easily forget that there is death. They take security from the abundance of the wealth they possess, but forget that death is a spirit, and no amount of physical power or security could stop death when it visits an individual. Even the security personnels are under the mercy of the breath of God in their nostrils. Psalm 146:4 KJV 

DON'T FORGET YOUR ORIGIN: Human beings could easily forget how they came into this world. Most people have vehemently refused to learn from brother Job in the Bible, who said that naked he came into this world and naked he would go back to the land of no time and season. My beloved in Christ, in whatever state of life that you find yourself, whether in riches or suffering, do not forget that Heaven and hellfire are the only two options for your eternal destination. You must surely experience one of the two someday, according to your lifestyle, and who you live your life to please either God or Satan. The joy in Heaven is indescribable, just as the pain and horror in hellfire is beyond description. Repent of your sinful ways before it is too late. Remember that you must be born again and be holy to enter the Kingdom of God. 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord God, please have mercy on me, in any way I have forgotten about life after now because of the situation or condition I find myself in. I receive the grace to live a life worthy of eternal life in Heaven, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27 KJV).
