Topic: Are You Worldly Or Godly? 
Key Text: Titus 2:11-12 KJV - 
(11) For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (12) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

According to our Key  Text, Titus 2:11; we gained understanding of what the grace of God is meant to do in the life of a believer. In relation to the Word of God, we can conclude that, "Grace, is a Teacher". It's main subject, can differentiate Worldliness from Godliness; Righteousness from Unrighteousness; Purity from Impurity. We learnt from "Grace" that, we cannot be a sinner and a saint at the same time. Sadly, some christians; known as believers, of this generation are so crafty. They chose to live worldly and godly at the same time; yet, they keep saying it does not matter. It's very painful, to say what matters most to God, and the Holy Scriptures, is not of a great importance to so many christians of today. Romans 6:1-2 KJV 

Loving The World Or God? Unfortunately, it hasn't occurred to so many christians, that Our God is a jealous God. Anytime we get ourselves involved in worldly affairs, we make God jealous and that angers Him greatly. Let's concentrate on this bible passage, to view what the bible says about worldly lusts and godly living. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15-16. It's clearly stated that, we cannot love the world and be godly at the same time. The Word of God says, the love of God is not in you, if you have the love of the world in you: regardless of how little, the love of the world is in your heart. It's time to make a decision today, who to love and serve. The world and it's lusts or God and His love? Psalm 4:3 KJV 

Walk In The Spirit: Do you want to live a godly christian life? Then, you must learn to walk in the spirit at all times; in order not to fulfill the desires of the flesh. By so doing, you would not be overpowered by the works of the flesh. It is written, the flesh and the spirit, are constantly at war against each other. To continually walk in the spirit, you would have to be watchful, prayerful, avoid every appearance of sin, and be closer to the Word of God. It is written, This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16. Please, accept Jesus Christ today, as your Lord and personal Saviour; if you're not yet born again. John 3:3 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, grant me the grace, to always overcome worldly lusts; and empower me to live my life for you alone; in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Reflection:Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
