Topic: Overcoming The Spirit Of Almost  
Key Text: Acts 26:28 KJV - Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

What a tragedy! My soul wept: anytime I remember this scripture, in today's Key Text. Agrippa told Apostle Paul, thou almost persuadest me to become a Christian (accepting Christ); sad to say, he declined the invitation. I am almost there; does not mean I am there. I almost own a house, is not the same as I own a house. Who can imagine, the regret of Agrippa in hell fire right now? The position he held for few years, made him turn down "Eternal Salvation". Agrippa, has been in torment for more than 2000 years; simply because he allowed the fame of few years to blindfold him. There are countless numbers of souls in hell fire right now, singing the same song as Agrippa. Many are lamenting, Oh! Oh!! Oh!!! I was told about Christ. I almost accepted Him, "BUT" my girlfriend or my boyfriend, advised me to ignore the preacher: and continue with the enjoyment of iniquity. John 3:3 KJV 

Are You Almost Repenting? There are numerous christians on earth, who would join the numbers of regretting souls in hell fire: because, they almost confessed their sin, but did not. They almost did their restitutions, but did not. Some women, got convinced of Deutronomy 22:5, but never threw their trousers away. Some got convinced about make ups, putting off earrings and chains, as a sin according to Genesis 35:2-4, and all other artificial materials on their bodies: yet, they ignored the warnings. Furthermore, some are convinced that prostitution, fornication, idolatry, lying, and other different sins, they are committing, would send them to hell fire; yet, they  continued in their sins and some have died in theirs. Proverbs 28:13 KJV 

What Is Stopping You From Repenting? Beloved, it might interest you to know that, "Whoever" or "Whatever" that is hindering you from accepting Christ or confessing your sins; is your "Greatest Enemy" and is leading you directly to the pit of hell fire. No one would be there, to deliver you from the wave that throws damned souls into hell fire on that day. Some christians, are allowing themselves, to be deceived by their lying pastors: fame that would pass away, positions, and money. Beloved, the truth of the gospel is Hard and Bitter: not everyone loves to hear the truth. One thing is guaranteed: the truth never fails. The truth is Painful but Gainful at last. John 8:32. Please, repent and accept Jesus Christ today; if you're not yet born again. John 3:3 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, please grant me the grace; to resist anything that would make me to say "No" to genuine  Salvation and holy living in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Reflection: Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf - 1 Peter 4:16 KJV
