It is written: With the heart one believe unto righteousness and with the heart confession is made unto salvation. There is power in confession and believing. Believing in Jesus Christ alone without confessing him as Lord and Saviour is like a man that is tasty, who has water in his hand; without drinking it. He would remain tasty, no matter how long the water stays in his hand; believing it would quench the taste. This is the life most humanity are living today. Romans 10: 9-10 KJV

Beware Of The Praises Of Men: According to the Key Text, we read that the people believed in Jesus Christ when they saw the miracles and heard him speak; but, they did not confess him because they feared the Pharisees and loved the praises of men rather than the praises of God. The same is happening today. For instance, many Muslims, and most people in their respective religions, believed in Jesus Christ; but, they wouldn't confess him for the fear of their religious leaders and for the praise of men. John 5:44 KJV

Hell Has Enlarged For Those Who Are Guilty: The major reason men and women of God would hardly make heaven is the acceptance of men's praises. Many ministers are only working to gain the praises of their congregations; just as majority of believers are working to gain the praises of their pastors or the church leaders. Every natural man has the nature of wanting to be praised and celebrated. The children of God must be in the spirit at all times to overcome such a
nature; else, Hell fire is a guarantee no matter the work one might have done for God. 1 Samuel 15:30 KJV

Prayer: I receive the grace to live my life to the glory of God alone and not for the praises of men; that I might secure my place in eternity with God in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen.

Reflection: But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4 KJV
