I don't see any other way one can be counseled other than the counsel we have received from the word of God 
through our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ; in his great wisdom that humanity must change from their evil ways of life. A way of life in which everyone is looking for the slightest opportunity to gain what he or she needs to make their flesh happy; irrespective of how it comes or the consequences that follows thereafter. Romans 8:13 KJV

Labour Not For The Flesh: Our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ have to tell those that was following him from one place to the other, to be mindful of the reason they are doing all they do to see him. He perfectly understood as a wise God that he is, that, they were not following him because they loved him or actually cared about the messages he preached; but rather because of the bread and fish that would be given afterwards. He knew the craftiness of man. The majority of believers of today, love to go to where they can gain not where they will give out. Romans 8:6 KJV

Labour For The Eternal Gain: The Apostles, Desciples, and the believers of old laboured earnestly to gain their eternal place in heaven; unlike the majority of Christians of today; those in the holiness sector are not excluded. You can hardly tell who is who today because of the crafty nature of believers. Many men of God have totally forgotten the God that called them and are now running after material things. All you will ever gain minus heaven is a Waste. Luke 10: 38-42 KJV
