Text : Genesis 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

All God need is a man that will hear his voice and obey the command. Many Children of God are crying of not being blessed or delivered from enemy by God,whereas they are the one that has refused to hear what the word of God is saying,some heard him but refused to obey instruction that followed. God will never obey man to bless him, man is to obey God to get blessed by him. But humanity would want God to do it their own selfish and sinful way, one will remain in bondage as long he retain his sinful integrity.

Key Text : Mathew 18:8 -Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
This bible verse would give every reasonable person the picture of hell fire. Hell must be a very horrible and terrifying place for our Lord Jesus Christ to use the term above in our text: Cutting off hand and foot of offence to avoid going to hell and to reveal the horror of hell, means hell fire is truly horrible. The Lord is telling you and I that nothing on earth is so precious to go into hell fire for. But it is a pity that people will certainly go into hell fire no matter how you preach about it. No one could preach about hell more than Jesus Christ, yet Judas, one of his Apostles still went there. Many of his disciples left him and went back to the world choosing to go to hell rather than heaven. John 6:66

Test: Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 
Are you a born again child of God? Are you doing all you could to please God, trying to avoid anything call sin to keep yourself pure and holy? Yet, things around you seems to be working against you? I want to let you know that no matter what you are going through now, no matter the difficulties and pains, it will surely come to an end for the name of God to be glorified through you and not even satan could deny you of that. Beloved in Christ, every problem has a beginning and an ending date attached to it. Nothing is for ever on earth. Look beyond the situation and look up to the solution giver (Jesus Christ ). God will never allow his children to go beyond what they could bear in any situation and he will not start it in your own case. God is not a wicked Father but a very caring Father who feels the pain of his children. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Text: Luke 9:23- And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Everyone that is actually ready to serve God, must be ready to carry the Cross. But most Christians of today are not ready for the cross but the crown. Our Lord Jesus Christ never told us that following him was going to be for bread and butter. But he said, take your cross and follow me. You must be ready to face challenges both spiritually and physically as a believer. You must be ready to make Jesus Christ and his will for your life the upmost priority no matter how painful it might be.

Beloved in Christ, this passage of the bible marks the bedrock of true holiness and righteousness. Not until you are able to put others in your place, you do not have the mind of Christ. You are not yet a true believer, if you could still do hurtful things to others or hurt others without considering how it would be if you were the one it was done to.

Scriptural Reference : Psalms 105: 1- O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

Some Christians are very good in counting what God has not done for them. They take anything God do for them as normal and they are quick to complain about their needs yet to be met by God. But these same people are slow to give thanks to God for what he has done. They are never appreciative, they are good in asking but forgetful in giving thanks.

When the fear of God is in a man, the grace to always trust God in all things will be given to him. God knows those that fear him. He will always do great things in their lives that will make them trust him even more and more. When the fear of God is in a man, the confidence to boldly stand before men no matter how highly rated they may be, will always be in him. Any one that fears God, always see God and not man in all that he do.

SCRIPTURAL REFERENCES: LUKE 9-59-62
59 And he said unto another, follow me, But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

This is how many people are procrastinating their salvation or doing God's work. They want to enjoy the pleasure of sin before they would give up for Jesus Christ. Many souls have died and gone to hell before the time they were hoping to have comfortably surender to Christ in their own time. Beloved, the life of man is not in his power to control. The Lord Jesus Christ, who knows your life span on earth needs you now. But how can you, that know not the next second of your life, say, I will give my life to Christ tomorrow? Revelation 3:20, James 4:13, Proverbs 27:1
