TITLE: COURAGE IS DEMANDED

KEY TEXT: Psalms 27:14 KJV: “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”

Courage is essential for every believer to successfully run and complete the race to heaven, especially in today’s world, where almost everything around us is discouraging. Every child of God must trust in Him and fully rely on His strength to finish well. There are several ways one can strengthen their courage.

TRUST IN GOD'S PLAN:
When life feels overwhelming, trust that God has a plan for you. Even when you can't see the path, He is guiding your steps. _”For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." — Jeremiah 29:11_

GOD'S STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS: In moments of weakness, remember that God's strength is perfected in you. Lean on Him, and He will give you the courage to keep moving forward.
_"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." — 2 Corinthians 12:9_


FEAR NOT, GOD IS WITH YOU: Fear is natural, but God calls you to courage. Do not be afraid, for He is always by your side, ready to help you face any challenge.
_"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." — Isaiah 41:10_


PRAYER: Lord Jesus, grant me the grace to trust you in every situation, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 KJV: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
