Topic: Don't Let Your Yes Becomes No

Key Text: Matthew 5:37 KJV - But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

This is one major weakness that the believers are facing, and Satan is capitalising on it to accuse the children of God before Him. Many believers don't know how to say 'No' to people's request. They would rather say 'Yes' with their mouth, even when their hearts are saying otherwise, in order not to offend the one requesting for help. By so doing, endangering their own souls. May God have mercy on our souls, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. Ecclesiastes 5:5 KJV 

Number Your Words: We have a lot of Sadducees and Pharisees in this our generation, just as it was in the days of Jesus Christ's physical life on earth. The Pharisees and Sadducees were always trying to put words in the mouth of Jesus Christ in order to nail Him by His words. The same is happening today, where people come pretending to seek counsel, but in all, looking for ways to use your word against you. Some people may not necessarily need your help, but would seek help from you, only for you to promise and fail. They will send you to hellfire if you die with such sin unconfessed. Luke 20:20 KJV 

Work On Your Mind To Please God Alone: I have come to understand that those who love to please people always end up swimming in an ocean of sin. It's very difficult to please people and God at the same time. People would sing your praise to perish you. Learn to seek God's approval in all that you do, regardless of what people would say. King Saul tried to please the people at the expense of his own soul, and he paid dearly with his kingship and his soul. Only say 'Yes' to what you can afford and 'No' or keep silent to what you cannot do. May God Almighty have mercy on us all, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 1 Samuel 15:30 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy on me in any way I have been living my life to please people at the expense of my relationship with the Holy Spirit, thus endangering my salvation and sending my precious soul to hellfire unknowingly. I repent and I have decided to live my life to the glory of God alone, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
