Topic: Don't Waste The Free Gift Given To You (A)

Key Text: Romans 5:16 KJV - And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Corinthians 5:21). This is what Jesus Christ did for the world. He became a man of sin, who knew no sin, so that we (people of sin) might be made righteous. We were to live and perish due to the sins we inherited from our first parents, Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:1-20 KJV 

It's amazing that humanity doesn't value the gift of life God has given through Jesus Christ. So many people have decided to live, die, and go to hell, rather than to accept Christ. The death of Jesus Christ has no meaning to them. Many live the life of sin for themselves and at the end waste away into eternal destruction. John 3:18 KJV 

What About You Who Have Accepted Christ? Some Christians claim to be born again and living for Christ, but the life they are living cannot be differentiated from those who have rejected Jesus Christ. Many Christians want to be worldly and godly at the same time. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. Meaning every unconfessed and unforsaken sin has no other payment, but death. So, confessing Christ only does not make you a child of God, but confessing and living the true life of Christ. Romans 6:23 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my Redeemer, I don't want to waste the gift of life you have freely given to me. Help me through the power of the Holy Spirit to preserve this eternal gift, as I have decided to live for you in holiness and true righteousness all the days of my life on earth, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
