Topic: Who Is Your Counsellor Or Adviser?
Key Text: John 16:13 KJV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour is a promise fulfilling God. He does what He says when He promised to send to us a teacher, counsellor, helper, adviser, and a comforter immediately He ascended into glory. It's unfortunate that the believers of today don't make use of the rare privileges they have. Many believers are still suffering and living blindly, even when the Holy Spirit has been given to us. Many don't even know who the Holy Spirit is in the lives of the children of God. Acts 2:4 KJV

What Is The Use Of The Holy Spirit In Your Life? There are some things I will do sometimes and I'll be asking myself questions like, "why do I need the Holy Spirit if I could do such and such?" If the Holy Spirit is there, why do we still make mistakes, fall victim of some things, and do some things totally opposite the expectation of a child of God? Why all the broken marriages in Christian homes when the Holy Spirit is there to help us in all things? John 14:26 KJV

Learn To Depend On The Holy Spirit In All Things: Many ministries, marriages, and relationships are broken or destroyed because believers are depending on themselves. They would rather seek advice from fellow blind men and women like themselves than to seek the counsel of the Holy Spirit. Note that whosoever counsels you has a huge percentage of right to control you. Make a relationship with the Holy Spirit and let Him be your everything. Then, your marriage, ministry, and your relationship with God and man will be intact and enjoyable. You must be born again to access the Man of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 11:2-3 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God, I'm very sorry for ever depending on myself and fellow man for counsel and guidance when you have made available to me the Holy Spirit. Please have mercy on me and grant me the grace to live a life worthy of having the Holy Spirit around to counsel, help, lead, comfort and guide me all the days of my life, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26 KJV
