Topic: Choose Your Eternal Destination Wisely 
Key Text: Matthew 7:13-14 KJV - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

It is written: “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” Humanity may pretend not to understand what awaits it, but the fact still remains that two gates are waiting for everyone. Only one gate would open for each individual to enter into his or her deserved eternal home. There's no bribery before any of these gates. The fee is the life one lived while in his or her body. The gate of hellfire awaits to open for every unrepentant sinner, while the gate of Heaven awaits to open for every righteous saint. Romans 15:4 KJV

Only Time Will Tell: Those who are living have forgotten that they will die someday. Some people won't learn, even when they see the death of others. They don't ask themselves where they would have been if it were them who laid down lifeless, knowing that the gates in eternity could only be seen when going in and no way out. And for your information, if you die in sin, only the gate of hellfire will open for you, regardless of the extra baggage you carry. Revelation 21:8 KJV

Your Decision Today Determines Your Destination Tomorrow: It's really gross foolishness for one to start regretting over available circumstances. Why should one wait till the point of no amendment when he or she could make the necessary amendments to his or her wrongdoings now? We are told that the road leading to hellfire is wide, and the gate eagerly waits to open for anyone who dies in sin. We are also told what makes the road wide, and that’s sin. Why don't we do all that we can, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to avoid sinning and make right and godly decisions? Repent, don't go to hell while you have the opportunity to make it into Heaven. Romans 6:23 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God, I have decided to live a life worthy of opening the heavenly gate. Please, empower me to resist everything calling for my attention, wanting to put me in everlasting detention in hellfire, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
