TITLE: THE TRUE NATURE OF A CHRISTIAN (PART 10)

KEY TEXT: PROVERBS 29:23 KJV, “A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.”

Many Christians commit evil as if they are unsaved. There was a man who said that he could still drop his Bible for someone’s sake and proceed to commit evil. Is that the true nature of Christ? Absolutely not. A true Christian can never think of forsaking his or her Bible to do anything evil. 2 TIMOTHY 2:19 KJV

Christians must always have a soft answer. When someone calls you on the phone, the first thing that matters is your answer. If you answer the wrong way, nothing you say after that will matter to the person who called. Before God can put anyone in a ministry, He wants to make sure that you are someone with a tender heart. PROVERBS 15:1 KJV 

This is why some families have problems. Where there are no problems, a terrible answer to anything can cause issues. No matter what is happening, always have a soft answer for everyone. It makes the Holy Spirit come down and makes love flow. Always remain humble and lift others above yourself, and life will be very sweet. Remember that one must be genuinely born again and have unwavering love for God to become like Jesus Christ and to enter His Kingdom at last. PROVERBS 24:26 KJV

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, please teach me how to answer people and live with everyone the way you would, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time” (1 PETER 5:6 KJV).
