TITLE: THE TRUE NATURE OF A CHRISTIAN (PART 8)

KEY TEXT: JOHN 15:12 KJV, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.”

The nature of Christ is a giving nature. When Christ was on earth, He had compassion on a multitude because they were with Him for three days without eating anything. He knew they would faint if He sent them all home that way, so He fed them. He did not tell them, “Be ye filled and go home.” MATTHEW 15:32 KJV

The heart of Christ is tender. A tender heart cannot say no to anything that is good. You cannot see someone suffering and not do anything. If you can eat and sleep peaceably while others are suffering, you still need to be born again. Christ would not do such a thing. 1 JOHN 3:17 KJV

Let us learn to forgive others in our homes and in the household of God. As long as someone is not a principality and power, or has not gone to a coven to afflict you (according to Exodus 22:18), you must forgive them, no matter what. Even God, for Christ’s sake, has forgiven you. He died for you and I to receive forgiveness. MATTHEW 6:14 KJV

PRAYER: Lord God Almighty, please remove the spirit of unforgiveness from me. Grant me the tender heart of Christ, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof” (ROMANS 13:14 KJV).
