TITLE: THE TRUE NATURE OF A CHRISTIAN (PART 5)

KEY TEXT: EPHESIANS 5:27 KJV, “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

When sin is found in a Christian’s life, it makes him or her a rebel, and God cannot answer the prayers of rebels. The Bible says, “Give not that which is holy to the dogs.” Sin makes a person a dog, and it does not take a major sin to make someone a dog either. Little sins have the same effect as major sins. Sin is sin, no matter its magnitude. MATTHEW 7:6 KJV

When you free yourself from sin, Jesus Christ will reside in you. Christ is too holy to dwell where there is sin. At times, a husband and wife can stay in the same house and not talk to each other for days. I wonder what kind of marriage that is. Can God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit do that? No. It is not possible. 1 JOHN 5:7 KJV

If a wife gets scared whenever she sees her husband, it means that husband is a devil in a way. A wife should be able to see her husband and be happy. As a husband, if you are angry with your wife, make sure your face does not reflect your anger. The same applies to wives. This is part of being a Christian. 1 PETER 3:7 KJV

PRAYER: I receive the nature of Christ, His character and mindset, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment” (1 CORINTHIANS 1:10 KJV).
