TITLE: HOW CONFIDENT ARE YOU IN CHRIST? (PART 6)

KEY TEXT: PSALM 27:3 KJV, “Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.”

King David never lost a battle a day in his life, and he was the greatest warrior that ever lived. Why? Because he was always bold of His God. He faced everything squarely because he always placed God first. God will always be at the front of every battle if only we put Him first in everything in our lives. PSALM 18:2 KJV

The very day that David did not acknowledge God led to his downfall. While his people were out there on the battlefield, he was at home enjoying comfort. As he was walking on his roof, he saw Uriah’s wife (Bathsheba) bathing and started lusting. He sent messengers to get her and committed sexual sin. When he found out that she was pregnant, he had Uriah killed in a battle, and everything in David’s life went downhill from there. 2 SAMUEL 11 KJV

The devil wants to try you to know who you are. He will bring challenges and temptations your way. Before anything comes your way, Heaven and earth are watching to see your reaction. I, Apostle Emmanuel Osezele, have seen it many times in different areas of my life. My brethren, let us make God proud by total and prompt obedient to His command, and by acknowledging Him first in all that we do. PSALM 28:7 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, have mercy on me, in any way I have ever gone ahead of you in doing anything. I repent today and ask for the grace to always acknowledge you in all my daily activities, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide” (PSALM 26:1 KJV).
