 TITLE: HOW GRATEFUL ARE YOU TO GOD? (PART 2)

 KEY TEXT: ‬‬”But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks” (Ephesians‬ ‭5:3-4‬ ‭KJV).‬‬

 Everyone was born with a unique destiny to glorify God. Unfortunately, most people have redesigned their own destinies for themselves, living their desired lives, going their own ways, and only doing things that please them. Such people have sought out their freedom to the extent that they no longer care if God is the Giver of Life who could take it at any time. The breath in them is used to glorify Satan and not God, the Giver of it. This set of people live to please themselves and men, but definitely not God. Proverbs 14:12 KJV

 DOES GOD REALLY KNOW YOU?: A lot of Christians claim they are of God because they go to church, sing in the choir, pay tithe, give offerings, or do other church activities. If I may ask, do you still steal, tell lies, cheat, or bribe to have your way? Do you fornicate, drink alcohol, smoke, or engage in dubious activities? Do you bleach and change the color of your skin from brown to a lighter complexion? What about your hair, eyebrows, fingernails, and toenails? Are they not fake and artificial? Galatians 5:19-21 KJV

 BE GRATEFUL: How grateful are you to God, who created you perfectly in His very own image and likeness, but now He cannot recognize you because you have disobediently redesigned your body and the life He gave you by living the complete opposite of what He created and expected of you in His holiness and righteousness? The only way you can show God you are truly grateful is by repenting from all your sins, acknowledge Christ’s death on the cross by accepting Him as your Lord and Saviour, and start living in obedience to Him in holiness and righteousness. John 6:37b KJV

 PRAYER: O Lord, have mercy on me for being an ungrateful child. Please, Lord, destroy every iota of wickedness in me and help me to be a grateful child by living in holiness and righteousness from now on, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

 REFLECTION: “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life” (‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:27‬ ‭ KJV).‬‬
