TITLE: BY DEATH OR THE RAPTURE

KEY TEXT: "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV).

It is baffling to see Christians who professes to know the Word of God, saying that they are not sure if the rapture will ever happen. Many have backslidden because they thought the rapture would happen two weeks after their conversion. They waited for a few months or a few years then went back to the world, since they could not wait any longer. Satan is using the delay of the rapture to win more souls to himself, which is supposed to be advantageous to the church. History has it that anything God has ever done for the benefit of humans has always turned around to be a snare because of their rebellion, stubbornness, unrepentant hearts, and hatred for their own souls. Anything God did on earth has always been for the benefit of man. Sadly, man has always turned God's glory to the praise of Satan, who happens to be man's archenemy and whose main duty is to accuse man before God and send their souls to hell. Revelation 12:10 KJV 

SOULS ARE LEAVING THE EARTH AS THE RAPTURE DELAYS: God kept the trumpet of the rapture from sounding all these years because our Lord, Jesus Christ, has been pleading on our behalf, using the flow of His blood to soften the heart of God Almighty. It is unfortunate that the people of the world, professing believers inclusive, have used the delay of the rapture to keep on sinning instead of repenting from their sins. Now, many mock and laugh at the subject of rapture because it did not happen as they expected, forgetting what happened in Noah's days. Hebrews 9:27 KJV

OPEN YOUR EYES AS THE RAPTURE DELAYS: Though many have eyes, they cannot see. The devil has succeeded in capturing and blinding the eyes of humanity with the temporary enjoyment of this dying world. Many believers, most men of God inclusive, are happily dwelling in sin because of the delay of the rapture. They forgot that anyone who dies, immediately faces his or her eternity in Heaven or hell. Get yourself ready at all times, because you will meet God either by death or the rapture. Heaven or hell; the choice is yours. Give your life to Jesus Christ if you are not born again. Be steadfast and unmovable in the work of God, and walk with Him if you are already born again. Matthew 24:27 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, please have mercy and forgive me, in any way I have knowingly or unknowingly sinned against you, using the delay of the rapture as an advantage to sin instead of using it to prepare myself in holiness. I receive the wisdom to overcome the tricks of Satan, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: "Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not" (Luke 12:40 KJV).
