Topic:  Hide Yourself In God's Word
Key Text: Proverbs 4:20-22 KJV - My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

What else does one need than life? All the struggle, stress, the worshipping of idols, people selling their souls to the devil, all the killings, looting of government treasuries, men and women of god burying people on their altars, some using satanic powers to do the work of their god, drug dealing, prostitution, and other dubious things that people engage themselves into is all done to get life for themselves. Ecclesiastes  1:14 KJV 

There's Only One Way To Have Life: Even though people do all kinds of things trying to make a life for themselves, little do they know that they are actually inviting the one they are running from (death) to themselves. There is  only one source of life, THE WORD OF GOD. It is written: "...attend to the word of God incline your ears to it, For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." You can see that the Word of God that people run from is their life. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV 

Life Outside the Word Of God Is A Death Trap: The devil in his subtilty has succeeded in pushing a lot of people away from the source of life and engaged them in things that would destroy their souls. Many believers have lost their bearing; hence, you see some bowing down to the chair of their general overseers instead of holding on to God's Word. My dearly beloved in Christ, whatever you need in life is wrapped up in the Word of God; search for it, and you will find it. Proverbs 8:34-36 KJV 


Prayer: O Lord, my God, have mercy on me for abandoning your Word that would have given me life and running after things that are on to death. I repent today; please, grant me the grace to seek your word daily, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. Psalms 69:32 KJV
