Topic: Do You Have Genuine Love For God?
Key Text: Luke 10:27 KJV - And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

My prayer most of the time is that God should reveal myself to me, to know how real I am in the service am rendering to Him and the love I said I have for Him. Many believers who think they love God are very far from loving Him. Most believers are like the old Pharisees who profess to love God and worship Him, whereas in the actual sense, they are fighting Him. Titus 1:16 KJV 

Put Your Love For God On A Balance: You never can know how much you hate God, thinking you love Him, until the love you profess that you have for Him has been tested. The first test of your love for God is seen in your obedience to Him. Your love for God is known when you obey Him, and not under duress. Do you obey the Word of God easily? or you find some of the Scriptures as a threat to your happiness? John 14:15 KJV 

Put God First In Everything: Another way you can be sure if your love for God is genuine is when nothing is able to stand between you and God; when everything else could go, but God's love remains unchanging. Many believers think they love God when life is good for them, but any little shaking in their standard of living can shake off their professed love for God. John 14:21 KJV  

Prayer: O Lord, my God, have mercy on me if my love for you is not genuine as I thought. Please, take away hypocrisy from me, and grant me the right spirit to love and serve you genuinely, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
