Topic: The World Of Vanity 
Key Text: Ecclesiastes 1: 2 KJV - Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

There's nothing more foolish than for one trying to acquire all that the world offers. The world can only offer temporary happiness, but eternal death and horror awaits anyone who dies enjoying the pleasures of this world of iniquity. I have seen both the billionaire and the poor die; then, both have to face eternity without taking anything out from this world of vanity. Psalm 144:4 KJV 

Learn From King Solomon: If Solomon, whose blessings and riches came directly from God could still call all he ever acquired as vanity, I wonder the kind of wealth or possession anyone would gain in this sinful and abominable world that would be worth dying for. Maybe you have made up your mind to get what you needed by all means, even if it means taking your last drop of blood. Please, have a rethink my beloved. Ecclesiastes 5:10 KJV 

Remember The Last Funeral You Attended: Of a truth, without being told, you have attended a funeral. You saw how the dead was buried without any of his or her property. How did you feel when the grave was covered? Days, weeks, and years have gone by, yet the dead is still in the grave. Have you ever related it to yourself at all? One day you will be left in the grave by those you love and all your wealth of vanity; then, your soul will face the reality of eternity. Hebrews 9:27 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, my God, grant me the grace to take my mind away from the vanities of this world, and focus on heaven where my hope is, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
Matthew 6:20 KJV
