Topic: Start and Finish Well Mindset Demanded. 
 
Key Text: 2 Chronicles 15:7 - Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
 
Starting a project is not really the problem. One could be mocked for not starting a business or anything that is of great value, compared to the mockery he or she would receive when a project is started and not completed. It is better for the eyes to behold a land not yet used than to look upon a long-abandoned building, standing on a land. It brings many imaginations into the mind of the beholder, either thinking the owner of the building died while building, or something bad had happened to the person which made him or her to abandon the project, or better still, he or she was foolish to begin what he or she knew couldn't finish. 2 John 1:8 KJV 
 
Jesus Christ, the greatest Counsellor, counselled His followers in Luke 14:28-30 to be careful about embarking on any project. He told us to check how much we have before starting a building, so we don’t start it and not finish it. This applies to anyone who desires to serve God and wants to make it to heaven at last; to have this mindset, such a believer should have all the necessary resources put in place to make sure he or she achieves that glorious goal. One of such resources is the power and the spirit of never giving up. Some people could have enough money to finish their projects, yet give up on it when little temptations come their way. Luke 14:28-30 
 
How Ready Are You in the Kingdom’s Business That You Are Into?  Many believers don't understand or know the reason they are serving God or why they became born again. Some believers pick up duty in a church, not having a vision about the job; others do it just because they saw someone else doing it or because they just want to belong to a group. Some believers have nothing to do with God, yet working in a church or doing things for God. Some never finish what they started because anything could offend them; on the other hand, those who thought deeply and prayed fervently before committing themselves to anything, never ended halfway. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 KJV
 
Prayer: O Lord, my God, please have mercy on me in any way I have jumped into anything that I am doing for you without proper consideration, by so doing, becoming a burden to you instead of supporting your Kingdom’s business. I repent today. Forgive and empower me to finish well, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
