What a tragedy, if you read the story in the key text of today's Divine Inspiration from verse one of Mark chapter five. From there, you’ll read about the great miraculous deliverance Jesus Christ performed in the life of a young man who was terrorising a community, not of himself, but was completely possessed by the devil. No one could bind him, let alone to think of saving him. Mark 5:4 KJV

Only Jesus Christ Has Power Over Satan: Everyone in that community ran away from this young man. I believe no one dared to cross his way. He was left alone in the mountains and tombs. Glory, hallelujah! He ran and worshipped Jesus Christ, the Creator of all things, and begged Him not to torment him before the time (Satan speaking). Glory be to God, the young man was set free by the only true Saviour of mankind. Colossians 1:16 KJV

They Prayed Their Deliverer Away: In comparison to humanity today, these people saw what Jesus had done. Instead of appreciating and welcoming Him, they were busy crying over the herd of swine. The same thing is happening today. Some people would choose to die in sin and go to hellfire because of their sinful enjoyment, rather than live a holy life to the glory of God. Beloved, your soul or the world? The choice is yours to make. 1 John 2:15-17 KJV

Prayer: I choose to let the world and its deceitful riches go to gain true salvation, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name. John 1:12 KJV
