The event that happened in today's key text was about a young man who actually knew that Heaven and hell existed. He knew that Heaven was not a place anyone could just jump into, as a shopping center, for example. Instead, he is in need of inquire from Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life; the only One who knows the way into the Father's Kingdom. When Jesus Christ told him what he needed, he was sorrowful and turned his back on Heaven. Today, the same thing is happening, as many people truly want to make it into Heaven and escape the damnation of hellfire. Mark 10:22 KJV

Many People Choose To Go To Hell Willingly: Jesus Christ Him in the key text to go and sell his possessions. It's a very simple instruction, but he chooses to enjoy this world and lose his soul. He forgot that there's nothing he had that was not given to him by Jesus Christ. Humanity can easily forget things. Everything that a man needs in this world is found in Jesus Christ; hence, Jesus told Peter that there was no one who would take everything and follow Him that would not gain it back on earth and eternally in Heaven. Mark 10: 29-30 KJV

Be Careful How You Pursue Possessions: Beloved, I strongly believe you will make it into Heaven, but you have to make a choice. It's either you or the love of Jesus Christ. Remember, one can not serve two masters at the same time, so you must give one in order to gain the other. Christ, and those possessions will come back to you on their own, without them taking your soul from you. Matthew 6:24 KJV

Prayer: I give up my love for possessions today to gain the love of God through Jesus Christ, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
