Topic: IS JESUS CHRIST YOUR LORD? 
Key Text: Luke 6:46 KJV - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Jesus Christ is asking the believers in this generation the same questions he asked the multitude that sought to touch him in Luke 6:19. I believe they were all shouting our LORD and MASTER heal us, save us, deliver us etc. Jesus Christ knew they never really cared about Him but were only concerned about their needs. His mission on earth was not important to them and so was His message totally out of point to them. Matthew 15:7-9 KJV 

Jesus Christ is asking you reading this message. Why are you following Him? You may be quick to answer and say because you are my Lord and personal savior; then comes the next question. Why do you call Jesus Christ your Lord when you do not obey His word? Jesus Christ is only a savior to most believers. It may interest you to know that Jesus is not the savior of their souls, but they only need Him to fight their enemies, save them from poverty, and heal them without salvation. John 14:15 KJV 

Many believers call Jesus Christ their Lord, but their loyalty is to the devil. The word of God has no meaning to them and they only remember Jesus Christ when they need miracles and other perishable materialistic gains. They have no love for Christ and His painful death on the cross has no value to them. Most believers go to church with sin and come back home with more sins added to the previous one instead of repenting, confessing, and forsaking them. Repent of your sins and learn to obey the word of God. Matthew 7:21-23 

Prayer: I receive the grace to obey the word of God for Jesus Christ to be my Lord indeed, and to make heaven at last; in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen

Reflection: Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Romans 6:16 KJV
