Key Text: Malachi 1:6 KJV- A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

Many people are adding more judgment to their judgment whenever they call God their Father and yet are living like the children of the devil. Naturally speaking, which father would be happy to have children that are rebellious and totally opposite the humble, disciplined life of their father? Jesus Christ in his physical presence on earth told the rebellious Jews that they were never the children of God or the seed of Abraham but they were the children of the devil; who are always eager to do his will. Romans 12:2 KJV 

Whose Son Or Daughter Are You? It's easy to answer this question by saying am a child of God. Does God and his Word recognise you as one? Do you have the power to become a child of God? One cannot be a child of God unless he or she is given the power. It is written: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13 KJV 

One Is Not A Child Of God Because He Or She Is A Human Being: As you have read in John 1:13, the children of God are those who are not born of blood nor the will of flesh. God is a Spirit; we should also expect him to give birth to spirit being. One must be in the spirit to declare that he or she is a child of God. Children of God are those that have the life of God in them. Those who are not living by the will of flesh unto death Romans 8:13. It's only those in the spirit that are God's children. It is written: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:14 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, have mercy on me in anyway I have been proclaiming to be your child in my carnality; I receive the grace to work in the Spirit of God in total obedience to the word of God; in holiness, and true righteousness to be numbered among the children of the Most High God in Jesus Christ mighty name, amen.

Reflection: The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Romans 8:16 KJV
