Key Text: Matthew 25:41 KJV- Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

It's so amazing to see humanity honour those in human authority more than the Almighty Creator who has the power to enthrone and to dethrone; to kill and to make alive. I read few days ago of how a former governor in one of the States in Nigeria was sent to five years in jail by a judge. Then I began to wonder why people wouldn't fear God. If a man could send a former governor to jail, what position would anyone hold on earth that would make the Angel of God respect him before the judgment seat of Christ? Proverbs 28:14 KJV

Everyone Is Answerable To God Almighty: You are very free to use the opportunity God has given to you as it pleases you; but don't forget this ONE thing, that a day is coming when both the judge that sentenced people to jail and those he sentenced would stand to be judged together by the Judge of all judges; the teacher and his students would stand; the pastors and those they pastor would stand; the lawyers and those they defended would stand together in one judgment seat. So be very careful not to be found guilty on that day. Remember, there would be no court of appeal. Romans 14:12 KJV 

Take My Counsel And Make Your Ways Right Before God: The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom says the Preacher. I don't know the position you are holding; humble yourself before the mighty hands of God. You would give an account of that position. The greater your position the more closer you are to hell fire because you would have more account to give to God. Learn to keep a clean daily account of anything you do. Don't pile it up till it becomes too much for you. Do all your hands find to do in the fear of God. Acts 10: 34-35 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my Father, have mercy and forgive me in anyway I have overestimated myself and have abused the position you have given me; plant your fear in my heart that I might learn to present my daily account to you in complete holiness and righteousness in Jesus Christ mighty name, amen.

Reflection: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 1 Peter 4:5 KJV
