It is very important for every believer to understand the danger of following Jesus Christ afar off. We read of how Peter followed Him to fulfill the promise he had made to Him by promising to suffer anything for the sake of Jesus Christ to the extent of dying for Him. When it was time to prove the love that he had promised to Jesus Christ, Peter failed woefully; by denying Him and following Him from a distance and waiting to see what would happen to Jesus Christ at the end. Matthew 26: 69-75 KJV

Giving Gap Is Suicidal: Peter decided to follow Jesus Christ from a distance but he forgot that something terrible could come in the gap between him and Jesus Christ; and that was what happened. The devil had to send his agents to stand in between the gap to challenge Peter of his faith which he once promised to die for. Peter had to deny Jesus Christ because that empowering contact he used to enjoy from Jesus Christ was no more there when he was always close to him. John 15:5-6 KJV

Cover The Gap Before It's Too Late: My beloved in Christ, you are gradually loosing the contact you used to enjoy as you begin to give distance to Jesus Christ, Prayer life, Studing the word of God, and those things that used to give you joy is now like a heavy rock on your back since you started following Jesus Christ from afar. Remember, no vacuum is allowed. The gap you gave to Jesus Christ is being taken over by some things that are totally unprofitable to your Salvation. Think of your relationship with Jesus Christ once again. Hebrews 4:16 KJV
