Considering one of the fearful scriptures in the Bible, the above bible passage could be one of them: and this makes me fear, and get more serious with God. Also, it makes me to be more honest, as much as I can, regarding my services towards the Lord, in addition to my lifestyle, with the help of the Holy Spirit of the Living God. It's amazing, that many christians, are not afraid, of what the world is about to experience, in the Hands of the Almighty God. Unfortunately, some christians, believe that, God is a man, that could be cajoled or manipulated with eye service and hypocrisy. Yes, humanity, are free moral agents, however, this has a limit to it. Life is all about the choices we make. We can choose to be honest or dishonest. Righteous or unrighteous. Note that, everyone would be judged accordingly to their works and choices by God.

Christians, should not be thoughtless; about their character, concerning their identity by living in sin, or committing sin wilfully. They are not well informed, about the value, God had placed on them; therefore, not enlightened about the extent to which sin could damage their identity. Every true child of God, possess the nature of God. The nature of God is Pure and Holy. Christians, are identified in the bible as royal priesthood, and holy nation. This simply means, christians, are of the royal family of heaven. Every royal family, would love to protect their royalty; in other to protect their highly rated identity. Christians, have great identities to protect. The devil, will always fight; to make sure that children of God lose their highly honoured identity. 1 Peter 1:13

There was a man I met few years ago; Nevertheless, I have never seen a man like Him. I have endeavored, to see, if there's anyone that could transcend, the kind of love He displayed towards me, but all to no avail. Surprisingly, the ones I thought, were extremely close to Him, failed woefully. This Friend of mine, gave me everything, I ever needed, to become what I am now. He went to the extent of exchanging His life, with mine. He proved His love for me beyond my expectations. He was arrested for my offence, and stood in my place in the prison. My judgement was placed upon Him. He was mocked, humiliated, and was sentenced to death; yet, He did not refuse to die for me. He was wounded for my transgressions, and bruised for my iniquities. His death for me, signified is extraordinary love as a true Friend. Jesus did all of that for you and I. Isaiah 53:5

My aspiration, for the church of Jesus Christ, is for the Christians of today, to reason the way Christ did while He was on earth. It's absurd, which pains my heart so much, to see some people taking this world as their home. It's ludicrous, some Christians think, they have all the time at their disposal, at their own time, and for their own pleasure to do the needful, If Jesus Christ, the Almighty God, could be conscious of time, while He was on earth John 1:1-2; What about we that don't know the next moment of our lives? Jesus Christ, told his disciples, He had to work while it's day: for the night cometh when no man can work. Jesus Christ, did all that was written of Him. Could that be said about you at the end of your life?

Beloved, what is your perception, regarding the scriptures above? Commencing from verse 40, we could see how Martha, compelled Jesus Christ, to force Mary, to assist her in cooking, and serving. To her, she believes, she's doing a great job. Her interpretation, of making Jesus Christ happy, is to concentrate on the chores in the kitchen. Conclusively, she thought her sister, Mary, was lazy, and had to ask Jesus, to tell her to give her a helping hand in the kitchen. What was Jesus response? Jesus made it very clear to her that she's focusing on the irrelevant. Her engagement in overworking in the kitchen is unimportant. Mary, has focused on the most important thing. I could see Jesus saying, Martha, you've forgotten that, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God " Luke 4:4

Beloved, have you ever scrutinized, the joy that salvation brings to anyone who claims to be genuinely born again? One of the most important thing in the life of a Christian is to ensure his or her salvation is still active. It's interesting to know, that bona fide Christians, exhibit joy in their lives. Their lives is usually characterized by the fruit of the Spirit. It's sad to say, that many Christians have lost their joy in serving God; yet, they expect to make heaven. Unknown to them, lost of the joy that salvation brings, is the lost of salvation in itself. This was the main reason, David had to cry out to God, for the restoration of his joy that salvation brings. He understood that, it's the joy of salvation, that connects him with God. When anyone loose his or her salvation, automatically, connecting with God is become impossible.

My dearly beloved in Christ, have you sat down, to ponder on the seriousness and importance of this bible verse? Has it occurred to you, why millions of people are contesting for a single price? Every contestant, is trying really hard; by all means, to get the price. Every competitor is avoiding anyone or anything that could distract him or her from the desired goal of this heavenly race. Within, every participant consider anyone or anything that could hinder this heavenly race an opposition (an enemy) until the race is over.
