Key Text: Isaiah 55:6 KJV-Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.

Everyone calls upon someone according to what that person is to him or her OR what the person could do at that moment in time. Apart from being a close  friend or family member, one could only call on a Doctor when he or she is sick; just as one could only call on a Lawyer when there's a case to defend. The same thing applies to other professions. Which profession does Jesus Christ hold in your life; that you only call Him when it comes to Him doing that thing for you? We are told to call upon God but what time or on what occasion do you do that? Jeremiah 33:3 KJV

Some people Only Remember God In The Time Of Trouble: Yes, it is written, He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him Psalms 91:15 KJV. Many believers have abused this privilege God has given them. They only know God as their Deliverer. Jesus Christ is only very important to them as long their problems persist. They could go on a three days dry fasting to seek the face of God to get Solution to their problems; however, the contract ends as the problem ends. Ezekiel 23:35a KJV

Jesus Christ Must Be Your Lord: Jesus Christ is only known as a Saviour to majority of believers. The name Jesus is only important to some believers because it has the power to save; but they don't want Jesus Christ to Lord over them. They don't want to obey His commandments but wants to enjoy  his protection. What is the use of  knowing God and  enjoying his protection here on earth and end up in Hell fire where God's  protection does not exist? Establish a relationship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit; let Him be with you all the time not only in the time of trouble. Proverbs 3: 5-6 KJV

Prayer: O Lord, grant me the grace to establish an obedient son and a father's relationship with you; I want to be closer to you and to do your Will all the days of the life you gave to me in Jesus Christ mighty name, amen.
