KEY TEXT: JOHN 14:6 KJV, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Anyone who has contact with Jesus has contact with light and life. Life and light are synchronous, and they move together. Darkness and death are also synchronous, moving together. Darkness and light are like parallel lines that can never meet. Jesus Christ came into this world as light to destroy the works of darkness, hence, He said anyone who follows Him automatically becomes light as He is, and darkness is powerless in the presence of anyone in Christ according to Matthew 5:14 and JOHN 8:12.

Before the Lord took on all the sins of this world, we were all gone astray. We were judged, awaiting our time of execution. But the Lord said, “Objection”, and God Almighty said, “Objection sustained”. Jesus Christ objected our eternal death sentence according to Colossians 2:13-16. He offered to come to earth and die for humanity. This is why Jesus said that everything in Him and about Him is life. If Christ’s garment could heal the woman with the issue of blood, His insides can do much more (His blood, water, etc). If you are in Christ, carry Him in every area. JOHN 19:34 KJV

One common and major problem with humanity today is the selfish and self-centered mindset of people. A majority of people today expect to be given what they cannot give to others. Most men on the pulpits with the title “man of God” want their Church members to give them what they cannot give to anyone. It is amazing to see so-called pastors laying emphasis on their birthdays, (even doing birthday flyers) expecting the congregation to send birthday gifts, when they themselves do not care if the members were born on a certain day like them. It is not surprising to see most men on the pulpits manifesting the wicked, enslaving, and selfish spirits of King Pharaoh and King Herod. PHILIPPIANS 2:4 KJV

I wonder how our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, is seeing His Church or His children who profess to know Him with all the hatred in their hearts against one another. I sometimes wonder where the Church of today came from. It calls for questioning if this is the Church that Jesus Christ established in love and truth. A Church where even the men of God cannot freely eat and drink together, except those who are in the same secret cult, having blood oaths never to hurt one another and pretending to be working for God. The Holy Ghost cannot dwell where there is no peace and love. If the Holy Spirit is not in your home, your prayers are nothing but a waste of time and effort. Where there is peace, there is joy. Righteousness gives birth to peace, peace gives birth to joy, and the Holy Spirit brings all of these together. It is a natural phenomenon. When all these are in place, your prayers will be answered. The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Now, can you ask yourself why righteousness comes before peace? Because no matter how you pray or fast as an unrighteous person, it can never work and you will never have peace in your life. Before joy and peace can come, you must keep yourself pure, holy, and righteous. How can one finish fornicating then start speaking in tongues? Who is answering such a prayer? To have an effective prayer life, you must let God rule over you. When He rules over you, He also rules over your problems. God’s will is the best for you, but do you allow His will to be done in your life? There was a time when I thanked God for not answering certain prayers in my life, because I want His will to be done in my life, and I do not know what I really need. Even before Jesus was about to die, He wanted His Father’s will to be done, and now He is glorified. MATTHEW 6:10 KJV

TITLE: THE KEY TO AN EFFECTIVE PRAYER LIFE

KEY TEXT: JOEL 2:12 KJV, “Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.”

There are effective and ineffective prayers. This also means that there are effective and ineffective fastings. For your prayers to be effective, you must know the key. A house could have different locks for each door, and one key cannot open them all. If you are praying and there is no effect, then you are wasting your time. ACTS 3:19 KJV

The first thing to know is who you are praying to. In your mind, are you praying to the all-powerful God (the Creator and Ruler of all things) or an object? When Christ was teaching us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-10, He was telling us to pray in a certain manner, not how to repeat the same prayer. When you are addressing God as your Father, you must be humble before Him. You must also revere Him. Worship and praise are very imperative, and it should also be a habit. MATTHEW 6:7 KJV

TITLE: REAPING THE FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS OR WICKEDNESS 

KEY TEXT: Galatians  6:7 KJV, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

It is a general phenomena to believe that there is no reaping without sowing. One has to sow before reaping. It is written: “For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind” (Hosea 8:7a). There are fruits of righteousness and fruits of wickedness (unrighteousness). What kind of seed are you sowing? The seed of righteousness or wickedness? It is only those sowing in righteousness who will reap the fruit of righteousness. Do not be deceived. If you sow in sin, you will definitely reap destruction, and if you sow in righteousness, you will reap unending life and your portion will be in Heaven. No one can trick nor manipulate God; He sees everything and knows what everyone is sowing (or doing). Those sowing in the flesh will reap corruption in hell. HOSEA 10:12 KJV
