TITLE: THE CUNNING NATURE OF DECEIT (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Ephesians 6:11 KJV: “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

Psalm 119:105 declares, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." The scripture is portrayed as a guiding light that illuminates the truth and exposes deception, providing a reliable foundation for living a truthful life. JOHN 8:32

Deception is not only a personal sin but also a societal one. Isaiah 5:20 warns, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness." This verse highlights the collective danger when societies embrace deceptive practices and distort moral values. A country like Nigeria and other crime infected nations are the way they are because of societal acceptance of deception from their leaders. LEVITICUS 19:11

The Bible teaches that God sees through all deceit. Hebrews 4:13 says, "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." God's omniscience ensures that no deception goes unnoticed, affirming His ultimate justice. Don't think no one is seeing you in your deception, God sees all you do and your sins will surely find you out if you refuse to repent. 1 CORINTHIANS 6:10

PRAYER: I repent of all my deception. Have mercy and forgive me, O Lord, as I make up my mind to deal truthfully henceforth, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: 2 Corinthians 11:13 KJV: “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.”
