TITLE: THE POWER OF INTEGRITY

KEY TEXT: 1 Peter 3:16 KJV: “Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.”

INTRODUCTION TO INTEGRITY: Integrity is a fundamental quality that reflects moral uprightness, honesty, and strong ethical principles. The Bible highlights the importance of integrity in various scriptures, emphasizing its significance in our relationship with God and others. 1 JOHN 4:7 

INTEGRITY AND GOD’S APPROVAL: The Bible clearly states that God delights in those who walk in integrity. Proverbs 11:3 says, "The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them." This verse shows that integrity leads to guidance and righteousness, while a lack of it leads to destruction. PROVERBS 28:6

INTEGRITY IN LEADERSHIP: Leaders are called to exemplify integrity. Proverbs 29:14 states, "The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever." This verse implies that integrity in leadership ensures stability and enduring governance. Proverbs 13:3

PRAYER: Father God, please help me to always remember that I am a child of the Most High and most holy God in all that I do so that your name will not be reproached, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: Proverbs 10:9 KJV: “He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.”
