TITLE: OCCUPY TILL I COME

KEY TEXT: Luke 19:13 KJV: “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come."

The Lord has given everyone of us charge over the area we live, and how we should occupy, preach the gospel and win souls before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has bestowed talents upon everyone to use in various territories. Occupy means to fill or take up space or time. The Lord has commissioned us to take over the area we live. Christians are fearful today like the third servant who did nothing with what was given him. It is easier for them to do everything, but difficult to keep the charge of God by going out and winning souls. Matthew 25:24-25 KJV

As many that will faithfully serve the Lord with all their hearts and might in holiness and righteousness, on the day of rapture, they will receive their crown of glory, while those who are busy now going from one herbalist to another or from one prayer house to another, will have their part in hellfire. 2 Timothy 4:8 KJV

Many that do God’s will are in His hands and no power can take them away from His hand. But as many that will not follow the footsteps of Christ, they are doomed and their names are written in the book of condemnation. Many Christians today still prefer to give their time and services to fake pastors who perform miracles for quick answers to their problems. But these are mere mortals with no answer to what you are going through. John 10:22-30 KJV

PRAYER: I receive the grace to occupy and maintain the position God has given me in Christ until the last day, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him” (Luke 19:26 KJV).
