TITLE: IS GOD TRULY YOUR FATHER? 

KEY TEXT: 1 John 3:8 KJV: “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

Most believers are fighting the gospel unknowingly. Some are using their own mouths to condemn and sentence themselves to hell by saying that they cannot live without sinning. Some say that they are like fish that cannot live without water, meaning they will continue to sin, since it is not possible to live a life free of sin. Hebrews 10:26-31 KJV

YOU CAN LIVE WITHOUT SINNING: The Word of God cannot go back to God void. It is a sin and insult to God to think one cannot live without sinning when He said we should be holy, for He is holy. God cannot tell anyone to do what He would not empower him/her to do. The power to live a life void of sin is wrapped up in the Word of God, and it can only be assessed with the help of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:34 KJV

STRIVING TO BE LIKE YOUR FATHER: The true children of God do everything to be like their Father. Categorically, Jesus Christ called the Jews, who never wanted to believe in Him, the children of the devil, because they manifested his deeds. Obviously, it shows that God regards every sinner as satan's child, and every unrepentant sinner will surely meet his/her father in hell if he/she dies in sin. Repent of your sins now before it is too late. John 8:44 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, please keep moulding me through your Word till I become the express image of God in true holiness and righteousness, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” (1 John 3:9 KJV).
