TITLE: THE CONSEQUENCES OF LABOURING OUTSIDE THE WILL OF GOD

KEY TEXT: LUKE 5:9-10 KJV: “For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.”

When you look at the word “will” it is the ability to exercise one's choice or intention. The question is: are you exercising your will according to the Word of God? For you to manifest gloriously in complete holiness, you must labour within the confines of the will of God. Nobody was created by mistake or born by chance. Everything that happens in the world has taken place in the spirit realm. JEREMIAH 1:5 KJV

We are created for a purpose, and God created us according to His will. The question is: are you functioning according to the will He has commissioned you? The challenges in the world today and what has kept the world in perpetual darkness and confusion is because the will of man wants to supersede the will of God. GENESIS 11:6-7 KJV

The will of God was not for Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit but to live holy, but man chose death instead of life. Are we living according to the will of God? The will of God for your life was not for you to marry brother Peter, but brother Matthew, but you followed your own will and your husband has turned you into a punching bag, or your wife is looking for a way to kill you to marry another man in order to acquire your property. 1 CORINTHIANS 15:22 KJV

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, please have mercy on me, where I have taken a decision that is causing me to swim in pain because I chose to follow my own will, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10 KJV).
