TITLE: THE NON-CONTROVERSIAL POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (PART 5)

KEY TEXT: JOHN 16:13-14 KJV, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”

When you have the Holy Spirit, you can do all things to the glory of God because you have the creative power of God inside of you. The reason Christians cannot do supernatural things today is because the creative power of God is not in them. Not that God does not want to give Him to believers, but because He is not being desired by the Church of today. Some believers desired Him from the beginning of their walk with God, but pride slowly started filling their hearts and lost contact with Him. 1 John 4:4 KJV 

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit. You may know how He comes, but you may not know how He goes. We must always examine ourselves to know if the Holy Spirit is still there. I always beg myself and others that whenever the Holy Spirit corrects us, we should quickly take to correction. Ephesians 4:30 KJV 

The Holy Spirit hates to be disobeyed. The easiest way to walk with God is to have a submissive and obedient heart. The Holy Spirit leads, teaches, instructs, counsels and directs. You must be one that is prompt in carrying out instructions to be able to have a smooth intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit only gives instructions or corrects, but never forces anyone to obey Him. He will walk away from you when you are not ready to walk with Him in fear and trembling. Genesis 6:3 KJV

PRAYER: I confess that I can do nothing without you Holy Spirit of God. Give me the grace to always obey you without delay, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 


REFLECTION: “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (GALATIANS 5:16 KJV).
