TITLE: THE NON-CONTROVERSIAL POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: EPHESIANS 3:16-17 KJV: “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.”

The Holy Spirit is the creative power of God. We see it in the first book of the Bible, during the creation in Genesis 1:2. The presence of the Holy Spirit has always been there in everything that God has done from the beginning, and He will always be there forever. Job was a man of high integrity, who lived a life of integrity, knowing that he was made through the power of the Holy Spirit, who is a God of perfect integrity. Job 33:4 KJV 

The day you realize that you have been created by the power of the Holy Spirit, you will honor and respect yourself. You must be conscious of who you are and what you are made of before you say or do anything. Always remember that you are a creation of the Holy Spirit; hence, you will always behave yourself to make sure that you do not let Him down. Matthew 5:48 KJV 

The breath of God and the Holy Spirit are the same. That is why Jesus breathed on His disciples after He RESURRECTED from the dead and said, “Receive ye the Holy Spirit,” according to John 20:21-22, and He empowered them with the Holy Spirit to continue His work on earth. Beloved in Christ, has Christ breathed on you? Acts 1:4-5 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please create in me a pure heart and endow me with the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord” (ISAIAH 11:2 KJV).
