*TITLE: NOW THAT YOU ARE FREE, WHAT NEXT?*
 
*KEY TEXT: 1 Corinthians 6:12 KJV: “All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.”*
 
*Beloved, as God has set you free, what is your next step? As you have been redeemed from satanic bondage, what are you now rededicated to do? As you have been set free, you must be steadfast in the freedom that God has given you and not entangle yourself again with evil (the yoke of bondage). Be very careful and jealous of the salvation and freedom you have received. Galatians 5:1 KJV*
 
*Brethren, as free moral agents, there is the tendency that one might go back to Egypt (former sinful lifestyle). However, we are encouraged not to go back to our past lives of sin and bondage, knowing the punishment that follows those who fall out of faith and are entangled again to their former lifestyle of sin and iniquity (Matthew 12:43-45). God promised us a new life and the new things that will happen after we are freed from bondage (blessings of a new life, eternity in Heaven, and freedom from curses, delays, frustration, etc). So, let us all cleanse ourselves from all filthiness, as we are responsible to keep ourselves clean, and the ability and grace has been given to us. Remember that only those who are clean will inherit the Kingdom of God. Ezekiel 33:14 KJV*
 
*As we are no longer under the bondage of the gods of the land but under Christ, let us walk in His fear, run away from all appearances of sin, and work out our salvation, which has been given to us in fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). We must strive daily to live in holiness and in the righteousness of God to keep ourselves secure from attacks of the enemy that walks to and fro looking for whom to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 KJV*
 
*PRAYER: Thank you, Lord Jesus, for setting me free from the yokes of evil and the bondage of sin. Please help me to abstain from all filthiness till the end, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.*
