TITLE: WORRY AND ANXIETY NEVER SUPPLY OUR NEEDS (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 4:6 KJV: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

We should trust God in everything, because He knows all our needs. He even knows what you are going to tell Him before you pray about it. God programs days when He will give us what we are looking for, and they come like the rain. We should ask God to show us those days and help us know His plans for our lives. MATTHEW 6:33 KJV

It is good to wait on God’s timing to receive our needs. If we continue to worry and have anxiety, there will not be any energy left in us to enjoy the blessings of God when we receive them. It may even be impossible to say, “Thank you,” to God, too. PROVERBS 12:25a KJV 

Just because God knows all of our needs does not mean we should not ask Him for things. It also does not mean you are not allowed to talk about or work for your needs. What God is saying is that we do not have to worry about anything, and we should not make it our number one priority. PHILIPPIANS 4:6 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, take away worry and anxiety from me. Please give me the grace to trust, obey, and wait on your timing in everything, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (PHILIPPIANS 4:7 KJV).
