TITLE:  CHRIST DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED (Part 5)

KEY TEXT: 1 John 3:2 KJV “ Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

Many Christians claim to be members of the Body of Christ but end up to be mockers of the Body of Christ. Regardless of the sin we commit, we become of the devil. Whenever we sin, we are saying the devil is our father. Let us therefore run away from every sin because the Son of God was manifested that He may destroy sin. 1 John 3:7 KJV

IS THE SEED OF GOD IN YOU? Whosoever is born of God cannot sin because the seed of righteousness and holiness is in him or her. Can you now see how long we have been deceived by preachers saying you cannot live without sinning? The reason why you say that is because you are carnal. The Word of God makes it clear that as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. It also says that there is no condemnation to those who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. Romans 8:14 KJV

WHO TAKES THE GLORY IN YOUR LIFE? It is up to you to choose who will take the glory in your life. When you sin, you declare that you are manifesting Satan, and when you are holy, you are saying the name of Jesus Christ be praised in you. Every second of your life, two powers are striving to take glory through you. Make the decision to have Jesus take the glory. 1 John 3:10 KJV

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, please search my salvation. Wherever I am not genuine, make me genuine. If I have been living a hypocritical Christian life, help me to be real, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen 

REFLECTION: “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” (1 John 3:9 KJV).
