TITLE: CHRIST, THE GIFT OF LIFE (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: JOHN 14:6 KJV, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Anyone who has contact with Jesus has contact with light and life. Life and light are synchronous, and they move together. Darkness and death are also synchronous, moving together. Darkness and light are like parallel lines that can never meet. Jesus Christ came into this world as light to destroy the works of darkness, hence, He said anyone who follows Him automatically becomes light as He is, and darkness is powerless in the presence of anyone in Christ according to Matthew 5:14 and JOHN 8:12.

The life that Christ gives is not the same life that the world gives. The life of Christ cannot be snuffed out (that was the life He gave to Peter). He told Peter that the devil wanted to sift him as wheat, but He prayed for Him. The words that Christ speaks are life. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Everything that lives on earth is the spoken word of Master Jesus Christ. JOHN 1:1 KJV

Everything that Christ gives must end with life. There is no death in Him. Christ said in John 4:14 that whosoever drinks the water that He gives shall never thirst. After one drinks the water, he or she will be a life distributor. Every true believer is a life-giver, and anyone who comes in contact with such a believer comes into contact with life and does not remain the same. JOHN 4:14 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, I surrender to you. Take my dead, old nature and give me the ever new life in you, as you make me a shining light, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it“ (PROVERBS 10:22 KJV).
