TITLE: ARE YOU CLEAN AND BLAMELESS?

KEY TEXT: “ Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all” (John 13:10 KJV).

The reason for the Word of God is to wash one clean and make him or her become a partaker of God’s holiness (Hebrews 12:10). Everyone is expected to be washed by the Word of God and be clean without blemish, spot, or wrinkles to be able to enter the Kingdom of God (Ephesians 5:26-27). How would you feel if you spent time bathing in the bathroom and you came out and saw someone pointing at you, saying that there is a part of you that is not clean? I think you would be disappointed. That is how it will be if after all God is doing through the Holy Spirit to make the children of God clean by the Word of God, but satan will be pointing at them as unclean souls. That would be a disaster. Have you ever come across the Scripture in the key text of today's message and really pondered about it? Jesus Christ Himself was the One who took water and washed all the apostles' feet. You would have expected all the apostles to be clean, since Jesus Christ did the washing, but it was not so. Jesus Christ said: "... ye are clean, but not all." Would this be said about you in the end? Ephesians 5:26-27 KJV 

ARE YOU IN AGREEMENT WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT? Beloved in Christ, being clean and holy is a choice everyone has to make. God cannot purge you more than your availability. You must willingly submit yourself to the Holy Spirit to work on you and walk with you. I want you to know that Jesus Christ will not force Himself on anyone. He always needs your consent to walk with you and work in you. He said that He is knocking on your door and will only come in if you open the door (Revelation 3:20). God wants to use you for His work, but not without your agreement. God wants all of humanity in His kingdom, but only the willing and prepared ones will definitely make it in. Are you willing and obedient to be qualified for God’s Kingdom? Isaiah 1:19 KJV 

JUDAS ISCARIOT WAS ALSO WASHED BUT NOT CLEAN: Today, so many believers are like Judas Iscariot, who profess to be born again and confess Jesus Christ, but will definitely not make it to Heaven. Why? Because their minds are never with Jesus Christ. They are like Judas Iscariot who was only with Jesus Christ for selfish interests. Jesus Christ only gave him what he needed (the bag of money), just as so many believers have been paid already with earthly benefits, but have no portion in Heaven. Surrender your body, soul, and spirit to Jesus Christ today, or else you will have no portion with the saints in light, but hell. Your spirit, soul, and body must be found blameless to enter the Kingdom of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, have mercy on me and forgive me, in any way I have been deceiving myself, thinking I was right with you because of my earthly blessings. I repent of all my sins; purge me, Lord, and make me be among those who are washed, cleaned, and set for your Kingdom, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJV).
