TITLE: SERVE GOD NOW THAT YOU CAN

KEY TEXT: “Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling” (Psalm 2:11 KJV).

Not everyone understands the opportunity that life brings. One’s breath is the only thing that guarantees the opportunity to do anything in life. No one, irrespective of his or her possession and position, could do anything without life in him or her. Anyone who wants to serve God or do anything for or with God can only do so while breathing. It is so sad to know that many beloved people, loved ones, families, friends, and relations, who once lived on earth, died without Jesus in their lives and are now undergoing serious torture, excruciating pain, and misery in hell. They will forever gnash their teeth and cry in regret as to why they never served the Lord Jesus during their days on earth. Perhaps, they were given the opportunity, but they turned it down due to reasons best known to them. Maybe at that time, life was so sweet, and accepting the salvation of Jesus was not an option for them. They failed to realize that any life lived without Jesus is a wasted life. Ecclesiastes 11:9 KJV 

REPENT OR FACE THE REGRETTABLE, WORST NIGHTMARE: Beloved in Christ, the worst pain those in hell are experiencing is the regret of not making the right choice while they were alive. They now realize the importance of having Christ as Lord and Saviour, but it is too late for them. So many have never believed Jesus as the Saviour of the world. Many, like the Muslims, Hindus, and other religious sects around the world, got the opportunity to be saved, but mocked it just like many are doing today. Some got saved but lost their salvation and never went back to the cross for re-dedication and restoration, while others followed the broadway gospel of prosperity and died in it. They will forever be tormented day and night for following the damnable path that led to hell. John 3:16 KJV

STOP DELAYING YOUR OPPORTUNITY: The reality of death is something many people do not really take into consideration. Many who thought they had a whole life ahead of them, died in a state of unpreparedness and woke up in eternity. Unlike those pleading for a second chance in hell, you have been given a chance to amend your ways. Come out from whatever sinful lifestyle you are living and embrace the Lord Jesus wholeheartedly, because you do not know when Mr. Death will come knocking at your door. The Lord Jesus is right there knocking at the door of your heart; please let Him into your life, for your eternal safety. Remember, you must be born again genuinely to enter God's Kingdom. Revelation 3:20 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, I am so sorry for shutting you out of my life all this while. Please, Lord, come and take over my life, as I surrender completely in submission to your Lordship. Guide me through my days on earth, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:17-18 KJV).
