TITLE: LET YOUR LIFESTYLE REFLECT JESUS CHRIST

KEY TEXT: "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid" (Matthew 5:14 KJV).

The supernatural manifestation of God's divine nature is supposed to be the true identity of every believer. A believer of Christ is the true image and likeness of God, so one is expected to manifest the divine nature of Jesus Christ, which is light. You are supposed to be the light that others see-through as a born-again child of God. Our lifestyle is supposed to be pointing souls to Jesus Christ. Sinners are not supposed to be confused about how they could get to Jesus Christ or how their lives should be if they eventually surrender to Him. Seeing us should give them a perfect orientation about the life of a saint. Matthew 5:16 KJV

SIN IS A HINDRANCE: Jesus Christ told us in John 8:12 that He is the light of the world: he that follows him shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. This means that everyone who follows Jesus Christ is supposed to reflect Him. Beloved in Christ, you and I know that Jesus Christ is pure and holy, and that there is no sin in Him. You clearly understand that no matter how evil is close to good, it will always be evil. Evil cannot reflect good, so how then would you and I expect Jesus Christ to allow us to reflect Him if we are still living in sin and iniquity? Sin is the manifestation of darkness, so it is totally impossible to be walking in darkness and manifesting light at the same time. We could only reflect or manifest Jesus Christ if we are living a life of purity. 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 1:5 KJV

YOU COULD REFLECT JESUS CHRIST IF YOU WISH TO: It is the will of God and the desire of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that anyone walking with Him becomes an expression of Him. It is an impersonation for one to profess that he or she is following Jesus Christ but is living in sin. Beloved in Christ, you have every opportunity to manifest your glorious nature in Christ as long as you are still breathing. Jesus Christ told us in John 12:46: “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.” All you need to do is believe in the Word of God and do what it says by running away from sin, doing all you can, through total dependence on the Holy Spirit, to live in total obedience to the Word of God. Do all you can to avoid every appearance of sin. Remember you must be born again genuinely to enter the Kingdom of God. Ephesians 5:26-27 KJV

PRAYER: My Father and my God, I am very sorry, in any way I have yielded myself to sin, hoping to reflect your light in iniquity. Have mercy on me and let the light in you start manifesting through me from now on for your holy name to be glorified, as I totally surrender my life unto holiness, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: "Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation" (1 Peter 2:12 KJV).
