TITLE: TIME HAS NO RESPECT FOR ANYONE 

KEY TEXT: “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work” (John 9:4 KJV).

God’s will for the church of Jesus Christ, is for Christians to learn or know how to reason the way Christ did while He was on earth. It is painful to see some people taking this world as their home. Some Christians think they have all the time at their disposal to do what was given them to do for the growth of heaven. Many think they could do the work of God at their own time and for their own pleasure. If Jesus Christ, the Almighty God, could be conscious of time while He was on earth, what about you who doesn’t know the next moment of your life (John 1:1-2)? Jesus Christ told His disciples that He had to work while it's day: for the night cometh when no man can work. Jesus Christ did all that was written of Him. Could that be said of you at the end of your life? ECCLESIASTES 3:1 KJV 

YOUR WORK IS ONLY VALID WHILE YOU ARE ALIVE: The only time one has to be useful to heaven is when he or she is still alive. The time to do and complete your assignment here on earth is now. No one would care about you and your work after your demise. Have you discovered the purpose of your existence? It is impossible to effectively walk with God or for God if you have not discovered your destiny in Christ. Everyone has a distinctive destiny that must be fulfilled on earth. It is unfortunate that many are wasting their time in doing the irrelevant. Some are using their God-given time to work for the devil, and it is amazing how hard they are working to please him. Whatsoever a man is doing outside of God’s will, automatically, he or she is doing it for the devil. It should be noted that the payment for everyone working for the devil is eternal damnation in hellfire. Romans 6:16 KJV 

YOU DEFINITELY HAVE NO POWER OVER YOUR LIFE: Everyone born into this world has an irreversible appointment with death. Anyone who dies with his or her destiny unfulfilled, has no place in Heaven. One must not live up to 100 years to fulfill his or her destiny. Jesus Christ died to redeem mankind at the age of 33 years, and He was fulfilled. Remember, you must give an account of the time you spent on earth, because every moment matters to God Almighty. Are you using your time to gossip, fornicate, drink alcohol, party, and do other sinful acts? Surely, it is just a question of time and someday you will appear before the judgment seat of God and give your account of iniquity (Hebrews 9:27). Are you working for God? Work with all your heart and might. When Christ was on earth, He worked according to His timing. So, watch out, for the time is at hand. John 9:4 KJV 

PRAYER: My Heavenly Father, have mercy upon me, forgive me, in any way I have been living contrary to the purpose of my existence. Grant me the grace to live for the right purpose, which is to do your will and the grace to be accurate in all that I do, to your glory, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Because to every purpose there is time and judgement, therefore the misery of man is great upon him” (Ecclesiastes 8:6 KJV).
