TITLE: YOU ARE NOT SUBJECT TO SIN

Key Text: “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof” (Romans 6:12 KJV).

Most people actually underrate the power of sin. They are ignorant of the fact that sin has the power to pull its victims to itself for the purpose of eternal destruction. Sin has the law that all its victims must obey. The force behind this obedience is lustful desire. The Word of God, according to the key text, gave us the understanding that one can choose to obey the authority of sin or not. It is written, “Let not sin reign in your mortal body.” Obviously, this means that one has the power that is greater than the power of sin; the power to say "NO" to whatsoever sin brings your way. Sin wants to attach itself to you by all means in order to subject you to its damnable tendencies. Sin wants you to feel very comfortable in the flesh, and the endpoint of it is “DEATH.” This is just the nature of sin. Sin is a destroyer. Flee from sin for the preservation of your soul. Romans 6:23 KJV

YOU HAVE YOUR CHOICE TO MAKE AND LIVE: Are you living in iniquity, and your flesh is happy? Remember, feeding one’s flesh with sin leads to eternal death. Your SOUL is in danger of eternal torment of hellfire, even though your flesh is presently rejoicing. Please, repent of your sins now while you still have the opportunity. Come out of that sin because you are on your way to a journey of no return. It's written, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his own soul?” (Mark 8:36-37). Can you sincerely answer this question: What would it profit you if your flesh is happy for a moment, yet your soul languishes in hellfire for eternity? Hebrews 7:29 KJV

TO COMMIT SIN IS A CHOICE:
Satan has no power to force anyone to sin against God. Man has been created in God's own image, therefore, man has the power to allow or disallow anything of his choice. Satan could only suggest sin to man, however, the power to carry out the temptation lies in the hands of man to determine his decision. For example, Eve in the Garden of Eden. Satan only brought an accusing question about the forbidden fruit to Eve. He went ahead and gave her reasons to eat the fruit, but never forced her. It is written: “Eve saw that the fruit was pleasant in the eyes. A fruit to be desired, to make one wise” (Genesis 3:1-7). What is that sin that you have pleasure in committing? Please, repent before it is too late.

PRAYER: Father, I desire to live a holy life from now on. Please, Father, give me the grace to say no to sin and to live a life worthy of making it into the rapture, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7 kJV).
