TITLE: RE-EVALUATE YOUR ETERNAL JOURNEY


Key Text: “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalm 32:8 KJV).

Everyone born into this world is set forth on a journey from the first day he or she received the first natural God-given breath in the world. No one is exempted from this journey, and it does not matter if one is a born again or not. Those who are not born again are definitely on a journey to eternal damnation in hellfire. They are on the broad express road of sin and iniquity. Undoubtedly, anyone traveling without a clear direction or a sure compass from God to keep him or her guided, will definitely drift into frustration that might lead him or her into eternal destruction. One may be doing all the good, moral things, but it will definitely end him or her in eternal damnation if not walking with the compass of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:14 KJV

SPIRITUAL FOCUSED MINDSET DEMANDED: It is suicidal for a driver to embark on an unknown journey without a gps navigator system, or imagine a pilot flying an aircraft without an altimeter. The driver or pilot will either not get to his or her destination or will never return from the journey. Most people embark on the journey of life without having the compass of life. Unlike the lying, deceptive prophets, Jesus Christ declared that He is the only way to heaven. He said that no one can come into heaven, except through Him (John 14:6).  It is sad to let you know that you are on your way to spend your eternity in hellfire, unless you genuinely have Christ in your life. 1 Corinthians 3:1-3 KJV

COMPLETE  CHRIST IN YOU IS DEMANDED: Believers, undoubtedly, need to have the complete nature of Jesus Christ in them to get them into heaven. It is mind-boggling to see believers having a little bit of Christ, but full of the world, and yet expecting the rapture or expecting to be welcomed in heaven after death. Believers who are neither cold nor hot, heavenly nor earthly, worldly nor godly, or neither sold out to God nor are they entirely for the devil. How could such think of making it into heaven or the rapture in such a terrible condition?! Are you in such a state of life while you are expecting the rapture? Jesus Christ is saying He will spew you out of His mouth unless you repent and totally surrender to Jesus Christ completely. Revelation 3:15-16 KJV

Prayer: O Lord, open my eyes to see my spiritual state to know if I’m in the right direction or whether I’m cold or hot, so that I may know how to amend my ways, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” (Luke 16:13 KJV).
