TITLE: PARTIAL TRUST IN GOD IS PROHIBITED 

KEY TEXT: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5 KJV).

The devil, with his devilish wisdom, will not stop most believers from doing the work of God. He is happier seeing people do the things of God wrongly than depriving them of doing it. He knows what the Word of God says and what He demands from His children. He knows that God does not accept partial obedience but demands full commitment in anything He gives anyone the privilege to do for Him. The devil knows that God needs the entire body, soul, and spirit of anyone who is walking with Him; hence, he will do everything to make sure one does not surrender all to God so that he or she labours in vain. Romans 15:13 KJV 

IS YOUR TRUST IN GOD COMPLETELY? The devil knows the believers who have some degree of trust in God. He knows those whose trust in God will fade away in a process of time. He is not moved by the fasting, loud prayer, or sleeping in the Church of any believer, as long as his or her trust in God has an expiration date. The devil knows when you are using God as a backup or substitute when you are praying and believing in God for help, yet hoping on a prophet or even a witch doctor to help you with the same thing you are trusting God partially for. Satan is happy to see believers with divided hearts in the Church. Psalm 28:7 KJV 

GIVE GOD YOUR TOTALITY: Are you believing in God for anything? Are you into a walk with God or handling a project for Him? You are commanded to trust God with all your heart, believing that God can do all things and your situation is not excluded. God is not a man who would promise and fail. He heals, delivers, restores, and empowers us. All He demands from us is to trust Him with all our hearts and keep ourselves from all appearances of sin. Remember that God wants to showcase or glorify Himself through you, even in that very situation you are going through. Just take your mind off Plan B and let God glorify Himself in your life and family. Jeremiah 29:11 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please have mercy on me and forgive me for trusting you partially or doing your work with a divided mindset. I repent of my unstable lifestyle and receive the grace to trust you completely and walk with you in singleness of heart, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart” (Psalm 37:4 KJV).
